- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAAE-03-R-0004. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for two ISO Cargo Containers. Description is listed below. Steel construction with corrugated steel sides, and roof. 3. 14 gauge locking steel double end swing doors at both ends of the BICON. 4. 1 1/8 in. thick marine wood floors, forklift tested to 16,000 lbs. per 44 square inches 5. Tie down steel lashing rings, 4,000 lbs. cap. each 6. (2) way fork lift pockets one set on each side 7. Vents (2) each 8. Connecting couplers (2) each 9. Connecting couplers storage bracket 10. Manifest box (2) each. 11. Color Olive Drab 12. NSN 8145-01-481-3740 13. Delivery schedule: 4 weeks from date of award FOB Destination with shipment to Rock Island, IL. Inspection and acceptance shall be in accordance with commercial practices; i.e., Certificate of Conformance. The contractor?s signed certificate shall be attached on the top copy of the Standard Form 14 49 and distributed to the payment office in block 16 of the SF 1449. In addition, a copy of the signed certificate shall also be attached to or entered on copies of the SF 1449 accompanying the shipment. The certificate shall confirm that supplies or ser vices conform in all respects with all contract requirements, and all statements of the SF 1449. The delivery is due by 27 November 2002. The contractor shall provide the company?s standard commercial warranty coverage for all products furnished under th is contract. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?
