Description

NA US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) plans to negotiate sole source with EDO, Communications and Countermeasures System, 996 Flower Glen Street, Simi Valley, California. This effort is for documentation, training, and additional provisioning spares to support SHORTSTOP Electronic Systems (SEPS) including an update of the Logistics Support Analysis Plan, Technical Manuals, Special Test Equipment, Training and additional provisioning spares for the system. Operation and maintenance procedures, lesson plans, parts lists, and documentation of procedures associated with use of test equipment are the principal logistics documentation to be acquired under the proposed contract. Only EDO as the developer and manufacturer possesses the essential tech nical background and experience for this effort. The Government does not possess a fully validated competitive technical data package for this effort. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all statements of capability that are received with 15 days of this synopsis.
