- A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN: 2840-01-387-5713NZ, Pratt & Whitney P/N 4080181-01, NOUN: Plug, Turbine Case, QTY: Minimum 27 ea, Medium 54 each, Maximum 81 each, Required Delivery: 18 each Jan 2003, 18 each Feb 2003 and 18 each Mar 2003, Destination: Ship to FB2039, Size and Dimensions: Approx 5? X 2?, Predominant Material: Nickel and Titanium alloys, Form, Fit and Function: A spring loaded removable plug which provides inspection access to the turbine area of the F100PW229 aircraft engine. Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number and further qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG85A, Tinker, AFB 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Anticipated Award date is on or before 20 Dec 2002. Procedures used in awarding this contract will include a request for quotation that will be issued via email. Quotations can be received by fax, 405-734-8776 or email, melinda.infante@tinker.af.mil. The Red, Yellow, Green program will be used to evaluate past performance. Award will be made to the qualified, responsive and responsible contractor who provides the required NSN, P/N identified in the RFQ at the lowest price. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for solicitations may be faxed to (405) 734-8776. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
