The item description of this cable assembly is: The CCA is a printed wiring board which has semiconductors, microcircuits, a transformer, fuse, capacitors, and resistors attached. It's funtion is to provide the torque motor drive signal used to control engine speed during the transition from primary to hydromechanical operation. It's dimensions are approximately 6.8 inches long X 3.5 inches wide X .08 inches thick. The material is Aluminum Ally Type 606, rubber, plastic, ceramic and copper and many composite materials. Applicable to: F110-100. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3028. Delivery: 31 Dec 2003; Quantity ranges of minimum 18 each, to a maximum of 46 each with the BEQ quantity being 37 each. The approximate issue date will be 22 Oct 2002. The anticipated award date will be 15 Dec 2002. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation to: BAE Systems/DBA LMCS, Ft Wayne IN. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incoplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
