A: Remote Casualty Location and Assessment Device (RCLAD) Industry Day. Previously Posted 22 Apr 02 on www.FedBizOpps.gov. The RCLAD is a device to aid the rescue/fire fighting community in finding casualties under rubble and through walls to confirm their status by determining heart and breathing rates. Interested parties are directed to the Federal Business Opportunities website. Click on Vendors, FBO Daily Synopsis Files, and FBOFeed20020422 to view the RFI. To quickly locate the RCLAD RFI, use your tool bar and find RCLAD. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Human Systems Program Office has scheduled an Industry Day for 16 & 17 October 2002, Bldg 578, Conference Room 218 & 221, Brooks AFB, TX. Registration will be from 0800-0830. Purpose of the meeting is to involve our contractors in defining the acquisition. A Draft Request for Proposal will be posted following the meeting. Industry Day allows interested participants and the government an opportunity to meet and discuss technologies, clarify government requirements, solicit discussion and feedback from industry, answer questions, and allows a forum for industry to discuss potential teaming arrangements.//Point of Contact for Industry Day is the Program Manager, Lt Joann Kenneally (210/536-8405), e-mail joann.kenneally@brooks.af.mil.//To ensure the success of this event, we request that you RSVP, via e-mail, to Lt Kenneally. Include name of your company and adddress, names of attendees with e-mail addresses, and an emergency contact telephone number. Provide this information NLT 10 Oct 02, so the necessary arrangements to accommodate those attending may be made. Directions to the conference site will be provided upon request via e-mail.//In order to accommodate foreign nationals on Brooks AFB during the RCLAD Industry Day, the information below must be provided. Include this information with your registration form if foreign nationals will be attending on your company behalf: Visitors name and citizenship, passport number and expiration date and visa number and expiration date, employer and address (identify whether U.S. or foreign owned), a complete description of the visit purpose, explain benefit to USAF for the visit/provide the impact on USAF if the visit is denied.//We hope to provide you with informative information regarding our requirement.
