Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number F05611-02-Q-0714, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 235310 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed acquisition is reserved for small business. LINE ITEM 0001: Removal, 21 EA 1/3? Color Cameras, 21 ea 1/3? Varifocal Lens, 7 ea Color Quad Display, 7 ea 17? Color Monitors, 2 ea 14? Color Monitors, 5 ea Exterior Cameras and Housing, 1 ea Equipment Rack, 1 ea Equipment Rack Door, 4 ea Quad Rack Mount Kit, Install, 20 ea 1/3? Color Cameras, 20 ea 1/3? Varifocal Lens, 1 ea Matrix Switcher, 1 ea Desktop Keyboard, 4 ea PTZ Color Cameras, 1 ea Color Quad Desplay, 3 ea Desktop Keyboard. Includes removal of the old system and installation of the new system. The FOB for this RFQ is Destination. Quotations received with other than FOB Destination pricing will not be considered. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and no addenda applies. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose technically acceptable offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Award will be made on the basis of determining the technically acceptable offer with the lowest evaluated price which meets or exceeds the requirement of this document. Offers shall include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items, with its offer (Attachment One). The clause 52.212-3, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, no addenda applies. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are: (b) 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 24. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Status of Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the inclusion of the following DFARS: 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, 252.212-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program.
