Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAJA22-02-T-0493 is a request for quotation (RFQ); its document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. For procurement are Item 0001: SPRAY EXTRACTION CLEANER (Spruehsauger), PROFESSIONAL TYPE, for carpets and upholstery, as specified below ?V 12 (twelve) each., priced at F.O.B. destination. A. IMPORTANT: The item specified shall be designed for non-foaming carpet cleaning detergents. Items that require foam-developing cleaning detergents are not acceptable. B. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: ?? detergent tank min. 25 liters, ?? recovery tank for dirty water, ?? flexible suction hose ?? suction tubes ?? pressure hose for detergent alongside the suction hose, ?? floor suction nozzle, min. 300mm/max. 360 mm wide, with integrated spray nozzle (s) ?? upholstery suction nozzle, min. 90 mm/max. 130 mm wide, with integrated spray nozzle, ?? starter grip for spray action on hose end or tube, ?? selector switch (es) for actions spray only, extract only, and spray-extract, ?? user??s instruction manual in English and/or German language. C. TECHINICAL REQUIREMENTS: ?? 230V/50HZ ?? Vacuum min. 270 millibar = 2750 mm water column ?? Spray pressure min. 3 bar or 3 kp/sqcm ?? Power cable min. 10 m long, with German Schuko plug fitted ?? Without electric heater, but suitable for max cleaning solution temperature 50 degrees C. C. MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS: 70 cm long, 55 cm wide, 72 cm high, maximum weight: 35 kg. E. SUITABLE DETERGENT CONCENTRATE: MIN. 5 LITERS SHALL BE SUPPLIED WITH THE ITEM. F. CERTIFICATION: Besides the CE mark, the item shall carry the VDE or the TUEV Product Service certification mark on its data plate as proof of having undergone test at one of these institutes. G. SPARE PARTS. The contractor agrees that spare parts shall be readily available to the US Army and its contractors performing repairs on government equipment. The contractor/manufacturer shall accept orders for spare parts regardless of the total materi al value; i. e. even small orders shall be accepted.
