Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F122CE22410200 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 421690 and small business size standard is 500. McConnell AFB, Kansas plans to purchase. This requirement consists of seven (7) line items. Line Item 001: Transformer 300KVA 12,470/720v delta 4160/2400v wye 3-phase pad mount transformer dead front, feed through, internal load breaker switch, secondary paddles, no internal fuses. (Solomon) MF Part # BD231 or equal; quantity: 1 each. Line Item 002: Transformer 750KVA 12,470/7200v delta 277/480v wye 3-phase pad mount transformer dead front, feed through, internal load break switch, secondary paddles, no internal fuses. (Solomon) MF Part # BD232 or equal; quantity: 1 each. Line Item 003: Transformer 500KVA 12,470/7200v delta 120/208v wye 3-phase pad mount transformer dead front, feed through, internal load break switch, secondary paddles, no internal fuses. (Solomon) MF Part # BD234 or equal; quantity: 1 each. Line Item 004: Transformer 150KVA 12,470/7200v delta 277/480v wye 3-phase pad mount transformer dead front, feed through, internal load break switch, secondary paddles, no internal fuses. (Solomon) MF Part # BD237 or equal; quantity: 1 each. Line Item 005: Transformer 750KVA 12,470/7200v delta 120/208v wye 3-phase pad mount transformer dead front, feed through, internal load break switch, secondary paddles, no internal fuses. Funds are currently not available. The award of this solicitation depends on funds that may or may not be available on or by 30 September 2002. Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to calrify that re-manufactured products are desired and accepted. Copper Coils are also desired. Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions; Question 1: Primary voltage 12470/7200 Delta, do you want 7200 volts Delta X 12470/7200? This would require a delta wye switch that would allow the transformer to operate at either 7200 volts delta or 12470/7200. Or do you want straight 12740 delta as the primary? Answer 1: Straight 12470v Delta Primary. Question 2: Specs do not call for primary taps. Do you want taps? If so you can only have taps on one of the voltages usually the higher of the two. Answer 2: Primary Taps (center tapped) Question 3: Do you require only re-manufactured all copper wound transformers? Answers 3: Copper wound. Question 4: Do you require two (2) switch or four (4) switch? Answer 4: Internal load break switch for transformer only.
