- Description
- The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS), which has a worldwide mission to market U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) surplus property, seeks partners interested in marketing the DoD's inventory of foreign excess personal property (FEPP) in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). In 2001, DRMS International generated approximately 3.4 million US dollars in sales proceeds from this property, which had an original acquisition value of approximately 85 millions US dollars. The FEPP to be included in this initiative does not include trade security or arms export controlled property, but includes all other usable property generated at 8 Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices (DRMOs) located throughout the country. Some examples of the types of property are: passenger vehicles, trucks and wheeled tractors, earth moving equipment, warehouse trucks, automated data processing equipment, tents and tarpolines, and mens outerwear.
