- NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical center, Durham, North Carolina intend to negotiate a contract with Micromedex of Greenwood Village, Colorado to provide Software Subscription AfterCare (R) Instruction (ED/ER), AltmedDex (TM), RPS Herbal Medicine, DRUGDEX (R) System EMERGINDEX (R) System, Martindale, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), PDR (R), POISINDES (R) System, REPRORISK (R)System, TOMES (R) System, Drug Leaflets, IDENTIDEX (R) Major Database Complimentary Subscription, Dec Alpha Mainframe. No solicitation document will be issued as a result of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All interested firms must identify their interest in writing and fully document their capabilities to meet the agency requirements by forwarding a detail response by October 23, 2002 by 4:30 p.m. All response must be in writing and can be faxed to 919-286-6819. If no affirmative written response is received by October 23, 2002, negotiations will take place with Micromedex. See numbered note 22.
