- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference Task ID 5TC5702C369. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-08. This RFQ is issued under Full and Open Competition and is a small business set-aside. NAICS Code 513390, Other Telecommunications applies. Size Standard $12.5. Provide a price for Digital based KVM switch solution in support of HQ AMC/SC; Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225. Requirement is for each of the following items and quantities: (1) DSR2161 Rack-Optimized Switch w/16 ports, 1 Analog, 2 IP, twenty four each; (2) DSRIQ-PS2 Analog connection from DSR Switch to server, three hundred eighty four each; (3) DSAUTH1 DS 1800 Authentication Server Software License, twelve each; (4) DSVIEW1-5 DS 1800 User Software License for Five Simultaneous Users, twelve each; (5) CPS1610-AM 16-Port Server with vConsole Software, twelve each; (6) 750122 Wiring Starter Kit- includes one adapter of each type and a 10 feet cable, twelve each; (7) 790200 CPS Rack Mount Kit, twelve each. There is a requirement to provide pricing for three additional units and related components that may be purchased within six months of the initial award, contingent upon program requirements and available funding. The requirement is for a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product. The products shall be Section 508 Compliant. Deliver to Maine Air National Guard; 243 EIS/ISE; Attn: MSgt John Herrick; South Portland ANG Station; South Portland ME 04106-2499. Required delivery date for 12 complete systems: 30 September 2002, sooner if possible. Execution of the basic requirement and the optional purchase is contingent upon fund availability. FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. 52.212-1(b)(4): Offerors shall submit existing product literature in lieu of unique written technical proposals. FAR 52.212-2 shall not apply to this acquisition. Award shall be made based on lowest price. Proposals shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3. FAR 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition -- 52.212-5(b): The following additional FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37, and 52.232-33.
