Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation number 02Q0156 is hereby issued for this requirement through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for: BRAND NAME - CLIN* 0001: QTY 53 EA** Thermo Electron Corporation Radiation Measurement & Protection Brand Radiation Pager (gamma) Mfg. P/N: PM1703M. The desired delivery schedule is twelve (12) weeks ARO and the required delivery schedule is fourteen (14) weeks ARO. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Paragraph (a) insert: "The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quotation, conforming to the Request for Quotation as provided herein, is lowest in price."; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. The following Clauses cited in 52.212-5 are applicable: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies; 52.225-13, Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases; and 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. Quotations must contain the following: 1) delivery schedule 2) pricing for each CLIN cited above; and 3) completed and signed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications.
