Based on borings and lab analysis, this building= should be supported by drilled pier-grade beam type foundation or supported by spread footing foundations bearing on a minimum of 5 feet = of granular engineered fill. The floor will be a concrete slab above grad= e bearing on a minimum of 5 feet of granular engineered fill. The slab should be above grade in order to facilitate run-off and so that eroded= soil from the surrounding badlands will not be deposited against the building structure.
