- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for a Wildland Skid Unit System to fit 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck. Specifications for Wildland Skid Unit are as follows: 200 gallon UPF poly-tank, fully baffled and manuf actured IAW NFPA guidelines. 2 ?? Tank to pump, 1 ?? recirculating/fill, water level sight gauge. 8 inch X 8 inch fill tower/lid/screen, black matte textured finish, sump with 2 ?? drain plug in bottom, 2 ?? overflow pipe. This tank system shall also i ncorporate (1) 10 gallon foam concentrate cell integrated. Cell to include pressure-vacuum vent, fill tower, level gauge, and suction fitting. To also include (1) custom RKO aluminum foam fill funnel. Hale Model #HPX 200-B18 X-Stream Series pump fully i ntegrated into this design. 18 hp Briggs & Stratton electric start engine. Twin Cylinder OHV design. Manual rewind back-up start. 245 gpm at 25 psi and 60 gpm at 150 psi respectively. Deluxe operators control panel with low oil warning light, start-st op switch, throttle control, and liquid filled discharge pressure gauge. 3 inch suction, 2 ?? discharge. To include 3 gallon remote quick disconnect fuel tank with bright aluminum tread plate holding system and quick engine oil drain system. To include (2) Akron model #1512 Saberjet 1? pistol grip multi-purpose nozzles. 4x4 stainless steel discharge manifold system. All piping shall be fabricated and welded IAW Mil std 248 and shall be hydro tested to 1500 psi prior to painting. Watertight Bulb seals. Red rotating beacons each mounted at top to rear. Foam Pro Model #1600 Class ?A? Foam system. Owners-Operators- Installation Manuals. Two (2) bright aluminum treadplate RC toolboxes for mounting on the bed rails. Each box shall measure 16 inches high X 13 inches deep X 90 inches long, with watertight bulb seals and two (2) doors each box. The boxes shall incorporate gas struts. In addition, a aluminum compartment underneath the system in necessary for storage. It shall measure 4 inches deep X 36 inches wide X 90 inches deep. The awarded contract will incorporate the following FAR clauses: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (May 1999); and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Or ders Commercial Items (Aug 2000), including 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-36. Additional FAR and DFAR clauses that apply are as follows: 52.204-6, 52.225-13, and DFARS 252.225-7007. THE CONTRACT WILL BE PAID BY VISA CARD ONLY. The awarded contract will also incorporate the following DFARS clauses: DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Aug 2000), including 2 52.225-7001.
