Description

NA The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the Item 2, Levee Enlargement, in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization; clearing and grubbing; semico mpacted levee embankment; ramps, removing and replacing existing levee surfacing; new crushed stone levee surfacing, mowing and turfing; levee station markers; providing as-built drawings (both blueline and electronic); storm water pollution prevention; an d environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) web page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/co ntract and on compact disk at no charge. Hardcopies will not be available. The compact disk may be requested electronically by registering on our homepage or mailing your request to VCCO at 4155 Clay Street, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39183-3435, FAX No. 601 /631-7798.
