Description: NA This is a Request for Quote to provide all equipment, personnel, and one (1) dedicated towboat necessary to tow the Heavy Lift Crane Henry M. Shreve from the Louisville Repair Station-LRS (ORM 606) to New Cumberland Locks and Dam (ORM 54) at 0800 October 1 0, 2002 and tow the Shreve to arrive at New Cumberland Locks and Dam, to arrive on or before October 15, 2002 and moor the Shreve in the auxiliary chamber or outside river wall. The towboat shall be released after the mooring of the Shreve. Arrive again at New Cumberland Locks and Dam (ORM 54) at 0800 Saturday November, 16, 2002 and tow the Shreve at the fastest safe speed to arrive Louisville Repair Station LRS (ORM 606) on or before November 19, 2002, and moor the Shreve to the wharf at LRS. The dedicated towboat will tow the Shreve to each location and shall not remain on site. All times specified mean local time at that location. Quote is to be based upon Estimated number of hours and price per hour for all services. Quotes for Tugboats will not be accep ted. This procurement is unrestricted, NAICS 483211. This RFQ has an approximate issue date of 17 Sep 2002 and a due date of 26 Sep 2002 at 4:30 PM local time.
