- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. This acquisition is unrestricted. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8243 and NAICS Code is 611420. Services to be performed: Four (4) day TACLANE Encryptor KG-175 Training Course for up to ten (10 students at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Government will provide the following: 1 VGA compatible projection system, 1 room cleared for SECRET with power and space for all equipment and space for 10 students and 1 instructor. Contractor will provide the following: 5 TACLANES, 5 DTDs with associated fill cables, 5 laptops/PCs with RJ45 NICs, 2 Cisco 4500 routers with applicable DS3 ATM module, 1 NT server with DHCP capability (for tactical IP demonstration purposes only), 1 ATM switch with minimum of 2 DS3 ports, 6 DS 3 COAX cables, 12 UTP RJ-45 cables crossover CAT 5 (3? minimum) (2 spares), 12 UTP RJ-45 cables straight through CAT 5 (20? minimum) (2 spares), 2 multi-port hubs (minimum, 5 ports each) RJ45, 5 training CIKS, 10 sets of TACLANE training materials, 1 certified TACLANE instructor, 1 instructor laptop, classroom set-up, course conduct, classroom recovery, and certificates of completion for all students who successfully complete the training. Equipment set-up and tear down should be performed the days before and after the training dates. Required performance is tentatively scheduled for November 2002 at Edwards AFB CA. The product descriptions provided above are meant to show the Government?s minimum requirements. Offerors can quote with like items, but must submit evidence of capability and compatibility of replacements. Offerors quoting equals must provide descriptive literature to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the equal item. All bidders must submit completed FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with the offer. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, contact the contract specialist to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Additionally all bidders must be current registrants in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) Responses are limited to 15 pages and must be received no later than (NLT) 3:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, September 26, 2002.
