Description

The National Communications Systems (NCS) is seeking sources to develop enhanced capabilities for modeling, analyzing, and monitoring the Internet. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify sources and request information on the cost, schedule, and technical feasibility information for the enhancement of existing NCS capabilities and the establishment of new capabilities where none currently exist. The NCS is interested in off-the-shelf technologies and those requiring further research and development. Responses from all organizations types, including commercial companies, academic institutions, and government agencies, are encouraged. The primary areas of interest are: (1) Internet topology and design data, (2) Internet performance and activity data, (3) non real-time analysis and visualization of Internet performance and activity, primary for what if scenarios, and (4) near real-time collection, analysis, and visualization of Internet performance and activity data, primarily for early warning and incident response. The RFI is posted in entirety and the response guidelines are located at the DITCO Web Page at http://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/public/asp/dcop.asp.
