Description

The Department of Commerce/NOAA, Eastern Administrative Support Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MCNC, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, for follow-on maintenance of a dedicated T-3 line between the National Climatic Data Center and the University of North Carolina, Asheville. MCNC manages the only network connection in western North Carolina, and is therefore the only source available for maintenance. The statutory authority for this action is 41 U.S.C(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. This action is estimated below the simplified acquisition threshold. No award will be made a result of any response to this notice, as this notice cannot be considered a request for quotation.
