Description
Establishment of the Terminal Business Service Program Management Office at the William J. Hughes Technical Center In order to utilize resources in the most effective way, the Terminal Business Service (ATB) has decided to outsource acquisition and contract administrative services for support contracts to another internal organization. In outsourcing this service through a Service Level Agreement, ATB shall optimize the use of Federal resources currently performing these duties for other work in direct performance of the ATB strategic objectives. The ATB has selected the Technical Center to provide acquisition and contract administration services for support contracts. The Technical Center has established an ATB Program Management Office (ATBPMO) to meet these requirements. As ATB's service provider, the Technical Center will handle all administrative services in regard to acquiring and administering support contracts for ATB, and as such, will serve as Point of Contact (POC) for any vendor interested in providing support services to ATB. The Government intends to award multiple contracts in separate, competitive categories to a women-owned, small, socially and economically disadvantaged, and large businesses in an Engineering Support Service Area (ESSA) under the Technical Center's current Multiple Area Support Service (MASS) procurement vehicle. The MASS procurement vehicle is designed to provide a broad range of technical support services and resources. The ESSA will be the second service area under the MASS procurement vehicle to be issued; Test and Evaluation (T&E) was the first service area to be executed and is currently under administration. More information on this procurement vehicle will be published within the next month on this website. Any contractors interested in information regarding the ESSA under MASS may contact Anne Marie Ternay at (609) 485-6990 or 9-act-atbpmo@faa.gov. General information about the ATBPMO may be obtained from Ms. Deborah Germak, Acquisition Manager, or Dennis Steelman, Technical Lead at 9-act-atbpmo@faa.gov.
