Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) intends to award a 6-month extension worth approximately $38K to DMS Technologies LLC of Pleasantville, NJ on a single source basis. This effort is in support of ATB-250. The effort being performed is engineering and software support for Common ARTS. The total value of this award including previously performed effort and the above extension will be approximately $133K. DMS Technologies is a contractor located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, having an existing knowledge of NAS Terminal Systems, is uniquely qualified to address the needs of ATB-250 as specified in the SOW. DMS has extensive experience in programmatic support, system engineering and management as well as FAA administration, which are key to meeting the responsibilities, and requirements of the ATB-250 mission. DMS has a wide breath of experience in the technical and administrative aspects of ARTS system acquisition and deployment as frequently utilized by the FAA and the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC). This is demonstrated in the corporate knowledge and awareness of the FAA's culture, customs, goals, expanded variety of management and operational experience. DMS have direct experience in the terminal and en-route air traffic control systems, which are needed for the infrastructure and programmatic support of ATB-250 management tasks. DMS is currently providing a level of programmatic support to ATB-250, which brings knowledge and perspective vital to the ATB-250 mission. Additionally, specific expertise in Pb-ICE with knowledge of the Terminal Hardware Disposition Forum is required to meet ATB-250's near term goals and milestones. This expertise is only available from DMS due to current activities and support. DMS currently plans, executes and briefs ATB-250 programmatic activities to ATB-250 management, consistent with higher-level ATB goals and milestones.
