- The title of the program stated above as "Environmental Hazards and Health Effects Information Development and Dissemination" is changed to "NCEH Information Development and Dissemination." The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates awarding a contract to provide technical support for information development and dissemination activities related to a broad scope of the NCEH programs and activities. More specifically, the Contractor shall provide technical support to NCEH related to information development and dissemination activities, including public inquiries response and tracking; Web site page design and maintenance; Web site promotion; exhibit design, maintenance, and storage; full-spectrum support related to selected training, events and program-specific meetings; design, production, and maintenance of communications products; and production and maintenance of program and partner contact lists and dissemination of information to those lists. Technical support will also be required for developing new strategies and mechanisms for disseminating program information. The Contractor shall be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of several of NCEH's information development and dissemination activities, including (1) inquiries response and tracking; (2) maintenance and updating of Web site pages; (3) exhibit maintenance, storage, and shipping and (4) maintenance and updating of program and partner contact lists. Other technical support activities and requests for assistance will be initiated on an as needed basis by NCEH. All responsible sources that meet the above requirements may submit a proposal which shall be considered by CDC. The solicitation will be available on or about May 17, 2002. The date specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after the solicitation issue date. Interested parties may obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation by downloading it from www.eps.gov. A limited number of hard copies of the solicitation will be available by submitting a written request to the attention of Karen M. Wright by facsimile at (770) 488-2777 or by email at KTW6@CDC.GOV. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests for the RFP must specify RFP No. 2002-N-00381. This contract requirement is set aside for small businesses. See numbered notes 1 and 26.
