- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The following description of the requirement follows: CLIN 0001 - (16 each) Mitsubishi X490U Colorview Projector, OR EQUAL, will be used to replace antiquated video projectors in the Display and Debriefing Subsystem (DDS) theaters at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon and NAS Lemoore. FUNCTIONAL The video projector shall be capable of interconnecting and interfacing with both Apple Macintosh and IBM-compatible computers. The video projector shall be equipped with Sync on Green to further extend the functionality with other display devices and computers. The video projector shall be compatible with various video input sources including, but not limited to: NTSC, PAL and SECAM . The video projector shall be equipped with various input/control ports, including, but not limited to: USB and RS-232. The video projector shall be equipped with various output ports, including, but not limited to: external stereo audio ports and external video port. The video projector shall be equipped with a built-in keypad that enables user access to the various functions of the projector. The various keypad-accessible functions shall include, but are not limited to the following: projector ON/OFF, keystone, volume adjustment, picture zoom/focus, and electronic menu access. The electronic menu shall allow for access to adjustments including, but not limited to: image brightness, contrast, color, position and sharpness. The electronic menu shall be displayed in United States English language. The video projector shall be controllable by and include a wireless, battery operated remote control unit. The battery operated remote control unit shall be capable of performing all equivalent functions of the built-in keypad mentioned above in Section 2.6.1. The battery operated remote control unit shall be equipped with a laser pointing device. The video projector lens shall be equipped with manual zoom and focus adjustments. The minimum resolution of the input video for the projector display shall be the following: 1024 pixels x 768 pixels The video projector shall be equipped with a built-in Ethernet hub containing no less than four (4) ports, allowing for network capability of the projector. ELECTRICAL The video projector shall operate on standard 120 Volts (alternating current) at 60 Hertz. MECHANICAL The video projector shall be constructed with or include hardware for mounting the projector to the ceiling of a conference room, office or theater. The video projector shall be equipped with manual display angle adjustment. PHYSICAL The video projector shall weigh no more than 16 pounds, maximum. The dimensions of the video projector shall not exceed the following respective measurements: 16 inches (length) x 6 inches (height) x 12 inches (width) ACCESSORIES The video projector shall include one (1) set of standard operations manuals printed in United States English language. CLIN 0002 - A quantity of six (6) replacement lamps shall be included with the video projector. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number RFQ N00244-02-T-1745 applies. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 and DFAR Change Notice 20020314. The North American Industry Classi fication System code is 621512 and the business size standard is $10.0M. This acquisition is being acquired for the Corona Division, Naval Warfare Assessment Station. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Paragraph (b)(5): Offers shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items applies as well as the following addendum clauses: FAR 52.211-5, Material Requirements. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b): DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; and DFARS 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities; and addendum provisions DFARS for Certain Domestic Commodities.
