Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) request quotations for the following listed item, Item 001 services to organize, catalogue historic collections, and to compile history in support of collections work 1 Lot. The Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. The request for Quotation (RFQ) Number, for this requirement is RFQ-03-CMT-0001. Period of Performance-Project to be completed within 4 months from date of award. Place of performance is Washington, DC. Delivery Terms are FOB Destination. Delivery shall be made to the BEP loading dock at D ST between 13th and 14th Sts SW, Washington, DC 20228. The basis for award shall be made based on the following factors, listed in descending order of importance: (1) technical approach of the requirement, (2) clarity/completeness of proposal, (3) past performance, and (4) the overall pricing. A copy of the specifications can be downloaded from this website www.eps.gov. All interested contractors are requested to submit a written quotation that will be considered by the agency. Vendors must provide a completed and signed SF1449 with their proposal. This procurement is 100% set-aside with regard to small business. The NAICS code is 541611 with a size standard of $6,000,000. Quoters shall include the RFQ number the proposed unit prices and the proposed extended prices. In order for the Government to perform an effective evaluation, the Contractor shall also provide two copies of brochures, technical literature, etc., to explain the detailed specifications of the services offered, any prompt payment discount terms, and references to include name, phone number, and address to whom the offered services had been sold to. Additional items which must be provided include the complete company price, the point of contact, full address, phone and fax number, Federal tax identification number, Dun and Bradstreet number, and the business size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business, Woman owned business, Veteran owned business, etc.). Quotations are due no later than 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on September 26, 2002. Only written, faxed, or e-mail responses will be honored.
