Description

Solicitation N00421-02-Q-0017 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a sole source basis with Test and Equipment Connection Corporation, 525 Technology Park, Lake Mary, FL. 32746 for the part numbers listed below. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 12.6. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are: **CLIN 0001 Quantity 1 each P/N U3661, Spectrum Analyzer, **CLIN 0002 Quantity 1 each P/N Opt 20, High Stability, **CLIN 0003 Quantity 1 each P/N Opt 60, CDMA Analysis, **CLIN 0004 Quantity 1 each P/N U3661-EXW5, 5-year Extended Warranty, **CLIN 0005 Quantity 1 each P/N U3661-EXC5, 5-year Extended Calibration, **CLIN 0006 Quantity 1 each P/N D5, Data Calibration. Test and Equipment Connection Corporation is the only known firm that provides the Spectrum Analyzer and accessories necessary as standard production items for the required Up-link frequency range (14.0-14.5 GHz) and Downlink frequency range (10.95-12.75 GHz). Award is expected 24 Sep 2002. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 20 Sep 2002. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received.
