Description: The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering the purchase of seventy-six (76) Repeat Reading Gages. This item will be used to measure flatness deviations on surface plates. This item shall be portable and capable of measuring flatness over small areas of surface. The base shall be approximately 2 inches x 5 inches with a flexible arm that extends 5 inches beyond the base. This flexible arm will be capable of measuring deviations of flatness in relation to the base. The measuring range shall be at least 0.001 inch. The measuring resolution shall be 0.000020 or better.
