Description

The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering the purchase of thirty-eight (38) 30 dB IFF/TACAN CW AMPLIFIERS. These will be used for the calibration of the AN/USM-155 RADAR Test Set in a field/depot level type environment. The frequency range needed is 950 to 1250 MHZ. The Amplifier shall provide 11 Watts with saturated power. It shall provide 10 Watts minimum of power output at 1 dB compression. The gain shall be greater than 40 dB for small signal input. The Amplifier shall have less than 2:1 input VSWR. The amplifier shall have input/output impedance of 50 ohms nominal. It shall operate at 115 VRMS +/- 10% with 50-60 Hz, single phase power. The amplifier shall be rack mountable in a 19 inch rack. The height shall not exceed 5.25 inches and the depth shall not exceed 20 inches. The connectors shall be front panel Type-N.
