Description

The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering the purchase of thirty-eight (38) Wattmeter Calibrators. The calibrators will be capable of calibrating a wide range of watt, VAR, watt-hour, and phase angle meters primarily at frequencies 50-400Hz, voltages to 700V, and current to 50A. This calibrator will perform most of the same functions as the Rotek Models 810A and 811A that are in the PMELs. This calibrator will be able to be used in a front panel manual mode as well as remotely programmable via the IEEE 488 bus interface. The output voltage range is 1 to 700 VRMS. The output voltage accurace is +/-(0.01% reading +0.002% range). The voltage harmonic distortion is 0.05% setting + 20mV maximum to 70Hz, 0.35% setting + 20mV @70Hz to 200Hz, and 0.75% setting + 20mV @200Hz to 400Hz. The output current range is 10mA to 50A. Output current Accurace is +/-(0.025% reading + 100 microAmps) at 10mA to 11A at 400Hz. +/-(0.035% reading + 0.001% range) at 11A to 50A at 50/60Hz, +/-(0.1% reading) at 11A to 50A at 400Hz. the current harmonic distortion is less tahn 0.15% at 10mA to 11A, less than 0.2% at 11A to 50A. The frequency range is 50-400 Hz. the power Factor/Phase Angle (voltage-current) range is 0 Lag to 0 Lead/-108deg to + 180 deg with an accuracy of 0.05 det at 50/60Hz. The power output range is 1 to 35000 volt amps.
