- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Impact Resources Technologies to provide planning and implementation support for Global Combat Support Systems - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) and by performing key logistics transformation support to the Marine Corp's Program Manager for Information Systems (PM IS). Impact Resources Technologies, the incumbent, has been providing the required support via a subcontract arrangement to support the GCSS-MC Management Team. The estimated value of the contract is $450,000.00 per year and the period of performance is one base year and two option years. The advent of the GCSS-MC provides a management framework that is a flexible and effective management visibility of cross-functional, cross-service and multi-echelon activities necessary to support the Commander's intent relative to the expeditionary logistics operations. The objective of the subject requirement is to support a management process featuring integrated resources committed to organizing linkages, dependencies and complementary activities critical to the implementation of logistics transformation objectives. Specifically, the requirement is for integrated planning, coordination and synchronized scheduling, interface and interaction with parallel and subordinate organizations and Department of Defense activities chartered to accomplish GCSS-MC implementation. This requires the contractor to have a strategic perspective and experience that correlates implementation planning with the known or anticipated budget cycle and POM planning as they relate to the USMC logistics transformation efforts. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above.
