Description

NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following services from Maripro, Inc. of 1522 Cook Place in Goleta, CA 93117 on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (c) (1):Only One Responsible Source : Deep-ocean installation of the North Array at the Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility (AFWTF) off the West/Northwest coast of St.Croix, USVI. Maripro, Inc. will also be required to integrate an Ocean Sensor System (OSS) with the existing Shore Electronics System (SES) per a Statement of Work (SOW) and Performance specification (PS) provided. Maripro, Inc. is the only known source for these services, since they hold proprietary rights to the North Array Hydrophone components, the OSS, and the SES systems and other ancillary components. A 'C' type Services contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (Completion) provisions will be awarded to Maripro, Inc.
