Description
A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN: 2840-01-308-0812NZ, Pratt & Whitney P/N 4069335, NOUN: drive shaft nut, QTY: 14 each, Required Delivery: 30 May 2003, Destination: Ship to FB2039, Size and Dimensions: Approx 7 inches dia. X 5 ? inches high, Predominant Material: Nickel Alloy, Form, Fit and Function: A round nut that provides locking features to secure the HPT assembly on the aft end of the 229 compressor rotor. The knife edges provide air seals to limit hot air leakage into low turbine bore coding air on the F100PW229 engine. Offerors must meet qualification requirements to be considered for award. Information about qualification requirements may be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG185A, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243. If an offeror becomes an approved source before award of the contract a solicitation shall be issued requiring proposal for first article. The only approved source at this time is Pratt & Whitney and award will be against their BOA using the Negotiated Pricing List. Award date is on or before 15 OCT 2002. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for solicitations may be faxed to (405) 734-8776. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
