Description

The USCG, MLCP, in Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for Dockside Repairs on USCGC MAPLE, a 225' Buoy Tender, home moorage of Sitka, AK. All work will be accomplished, at the cutter's home moorage, during the period of 18 Feb 2003 through 11 April 2003. Work items include; Gantt bar chart, diver underwater body inspection, portlights and misc closures repair, pyrometers and thermocouples calibration, heater vertilation syst mod, commissary hoist level 1 inspect and test, boat boom level 1 inspect and repair, single point davit level 1 inspect and test, buoy and cargo handling cranes level 1 insepct and repair, and temporary services. A RFP (request for proposal) will be issued on or about 1 Oct 2002, in accordance with the SBCDP. The solicitation, specifications and other notifications will be posted on the web at: www.eps.gov. Attn: Minority, Womem-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working captial financing, in the form of lines of credit, to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
