Description
The 347 Contracting Squadron/MSCB is seeking sources to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the Cleaning of Grease Traps at Moody AFB, GA approximately 10 miles north of Valdosta, GA. See attached Statement of Work. This agreement will be for a base year (1 Oct 02-30 Sep 03) plus four one-year options. Payment will be made via the Visa Government Purchase Card (GPC). Statement of work Cleaning Grease Traps If there are any questions about the reading of the statement of work call SrA Register at (229)257-4917, and I could fax it to you for a little more clarification. 1. Location of Work: The work described in this Statement of Work (SOW) shall be performed at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, ten miles north of Valdosta, Georgia. Work is to be accomplished at buildings 207, 571, 583, 901, 902, 904 and 1806. 2. Description of Work: The work consist of providing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation and related items and performing all operations necessary to pump out and clean the grease traps as shown in this Statement of Work. The work includes, pumping out and cleaning eight (8) grease traps, transporting the material off base and disposing of the material in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. 3. Work Requirements: The contractor shall completely pump out and clean all grease traps during the months shown in this SOW. Cleaning includes the removal of all liquids, solids, and sediment from the walls, floors, strainers and piping inside each grease trap. All waste products pumped from the grease traps shall be removed from Moody Air Force Base. Special care should be taken to avoid spillage of liquids and/or solids during all pumping operations. Should spillage occur, immediate cleanup shall be performed. Contaminated soil shall be removed and disposed of off base. Contaminated soil and affected vegetation shall be replaced by the contractor, to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer (CO), without cost to the Government. 4. Scheduling Work: The contractor shall coordinate the schedule for pumping and cleaning of grease traps with Civil Engineering, Maintenance Engineering Section, QAE. Normal working hours are, Monday through Friday 0800 hrs. to 1700 hrs. The contractor shall notify the QAE, at (229) 257-2492 or 257-4393, not less than three workdays prior to starting pumping and cleaning of the grease traps. Following each day's work, the contractor or his representative shall submit a list of all facilities serviced (i.e. cleaned/pumped) prior to departing the base. 5. Damages: The contractor is responsible for repairing any and all damage to shrubs, sod, and facilities which occur during the performance of this contract. The contractor shall avoid driving on the grass whenever possible. Ruts caused by the contractor's equipment shall be filled and seeded. CLEAN GREASE TRAPS SERVICES NONPERSONAL TO PROVIDE ALL EQUIPMENT, LABOR, AND TRANSPORTATION NECESSARY TO CLEAN OUT GREASE TRAPS AT THE BUILDINGS LISTED HEREIN AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE SHOWN BELOW.
