- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Central Administrative Support Center (CASC), intends to enter into a sole-source procurement with Government Scientific Source, Inc., for one Direct Mercury Analyzer, P/N DMA-80. This instrument is to be delivered to the National Marine Fisheries Service at Pascagoula, MS. The only known source for this instrument is Government Scientific Source, Inc. This will be a commercial item acquisition. Vendors capable of providing a like instrument with the same capabilities of the Direct Mercury Analyzer should send a brief statement to the Contracting Officer documenting the name of the firm, address, telephone number, point of contact and their capability to meet this requirement. Information may be faxed to (816) 426-7530. Failure to provide the required information will deem your request, non-responsive. The Contracting Officer will make a determination, based on information received, if it is in the Governments best interest to issue a solicitation. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The Government reserves the right to solicit bids base on responses received from this notice. The anticipated award date is within 15 days after the date of this notice. This is not a small business set-aside.
