- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7373. NAICS is 541512. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking sources for the anticipated purchase of the following twenty (20) items. Four (4) PCI SCRAMNet+ SC150e, NI PCI SCRAMNet+ SC150e Network Interface, 3.3v and 5v signaling, Network Bit Rate: 150 Mbps, Network Cabling: Dual Fiber, ST Connections, Access to ACRs: Yes, Network Transmit Interrupts: Selectable per memory location, Net Receive Interrupts: Selectable per memory location, Count on Trigger Locations: Triggers 1 & 2 Selectable per memory location, Clear on Trigger 2 Locations: Triggers 1 & 2 Selectable per memory location, Max Network Throughput: 16.7 MB/sec, PCI Read PIO Throughput: 14.7 MB/sec, PCI Read DMA Throughput: 67.0 MB/sec, PCI Write PIO Throughput: 15.7 MB/sec, PCI Write DMA Throughput: 16.1 MB/sec, Per Node Latency: 250nS to 800 nS, V3 Prefetching on by default: Yes, PCI Signaling: 5V, 3.3V, Media Type: Embedded 820 nm fiber optic, Local Bus Speed: 37.5 MHz, External Trigger Access: Aux (?T1 or T2?), embedded 2-Mbyte memory and Standard Optic Media, Note: The SCRAMNet (Shared Common RAM Network) Network is a multi-vendor, replicated shared-memory, 150-megabit/second fiber optic communication system designed for use in real-time computer systems. SCRAMNet is optimized for the high-speed transfer of small packets of data among computers when ultra-low-latency data transmission is required. SCRAMNet is ideally suited for applications including: simulation, telemetry, robotics, data acquisition, instrumentation and control, and virtual reality. SCRAMNet supports: SC150 boards are available in VME (3U, 6U, and 9U), PCI, PCI Short Card, PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC), CompactPCI, ISA, EISA, SBus, SelBus, GIO-32 and Rehostable form factors. SC150e boards are available in PCI Short Card and PMC configurations. four (4) Software Kit, PC SCRAMNet+ Driver and Hardware Confidence Test Software Documentation and Media Kit for Pentium, PCI, Windows 98, NT 4.0, 2000, XP (CD ROM), four (4) Software License SCRAMNet+ Software License for Pentium, PCI, Windows 98, NT 4.0, 2000 and eight (8) Fiber Optic Cables, 20M commercial Grade w/ST Connectors, 20 Meters.
