- This notification is for informational purposes only. The government intends to award a single-source requirement to MIC Industries for a Trailer-Mounted Multi-Coiled Feeder. Equipment is compatible with existing MIC Automatic Building Machine. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (a) (2) (b) (1). Description is as follows: One (1) Each, MIC Industries Trailer-Mounted Multi-Coil Feeder, length: 6.35 meters, width: 2.24 meters, height: 1.60 meters, weight: 2540 kg, axles: three (3) @ 4090 kg, wheels/tires: 17.5 x 6.75, 8 on 6.5, 215/75R17.5H tires, brakes: 31.11cm x 8.57 cm air assisted hydraulic brakes with anti-lock braking system (ABS), all steel construction utilizing stainless and stress-proof steels in key locations, decoiling devices: five (5), each adjustable from 45cm to 66 cm inside diameter, 2300kg capacity each, compatible with all MIC Mobile Building Systems, four (4) manual leveling jacks, adaptable 12/24 vdc lighting to meet international requirements, meets U.S. highway safety standards, paint: premium urethane enamel over epoxy primer. The anticipated award date is 5 Sep 02. Required delivery date is 30 Sep 02, FOB Destination to 820th RED HORSE Squadron, 5179 Malmstrom Ave, Bldg 10121, Nellis AFB, NV 89191-7063.
