Description
The administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) intends to issue a delivery order to COMARK, 4433 Brookfield Corporate Drive, Suite A, Chantilly, Va. 20151 against their GSA Schedule Number GS-35F-4044D for purchase of On Technology, Inc. On Command CCM network and management software, support, training, and consulting. This software is capable of: quickly and transparently deploying applications, operating systems, software repairs, security patches, and service pack updates to selected desktops; providing unattended operation, including making changes to PCs that have been shut down; automatically modifying registry entries for Windows 95/98/2000 PCs; flashing system BIOS of Dell Desktop PCs; performing disaster recovery for desktop PCs including formatting a hard drive and rapidly loading an image of the original desktop PC hard drive; working with Novell Netware servers, Zenworks for Desktops, and PCs using Netware Client32 software without using Active Directory; configuring and establishing system alarms for changes at the desktop level that may adversely affect network infrastructure; inventorying hardware and software of desktop PCs and maintaining an audit trail; establishing the physical location of the PCs on the network by interrogating routers and switches. The CCM network and management software fully meets the AOUSC's requirements of integration with the agency's Novell products. Vendors capable of providing proven developed software capable of performing all of the functions of the CCM software as well as support, training, and consulting may submit a company and product capability statement, supporting literature, and cost to: Jim Harden, Contract Specialist, Admin. Office of the U.S. Courts, One Columbus Circle, N.E. Rm 3-250, Washington, D.C. 20554 by 4pm (EDT) September 4, 2002. Any capability statement received will be evaluated by the AOUSC to determine if it meets the requirements listed herein and if it is in the best interest of the agency to issue a solicitation for this project. In making its determination the AOUSC will employ a best value approach considering technical capabilities of the software, past performance of the software and company, and cost. All questions may be emailed to Jim_Harden@ao.uscourts.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
