Description
Request for quote in accordance with FAR 12 and 13 for Answering Service for two offices. The Seattle Service Port and the Port of Tacoma. Services shall be done in accordance with the following statement of work. Period of performance: October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003. Hours of Service: 2200 to 0800 all days of the week including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Procedures: Cusoms will roll the public telephones over to the Answering Service a the clsoe of business each day and fax the scheduled Assignments to the Answering Service along with a call out list of Customs Inspectors and phone numbers listed in call out order. The fax will include the Customs Supervisor on call out duty for that night. The Answering Service will ensure that all calls requesting Customs Service during the hours of the night (2200 to 0800). If they are not, the Answering Service will utilize the call out list in the order provided to assign an Inspector to the requested service. Matters that are unresolved using the above methods will be referred to the Supervisor on call. The Answering Service will maintain a record of all calls received or made on the Customs number, and fax that record to the Customs at 0800 on the next working day. Answering Service Charges: The answering service providers shall quote a fixed monthly amount which will include: all long distance charges, all over calls (second calls to answering machines), all faxes and all patch throughs or conference calls. The award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive, lowest priced contractor. The contractor shall be registered at www.ccr.gov. Facsimile or email responses are acceptable.
