Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the Northern District of New York. The vehicles will include production-sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year with 2 one-year options, for a total of 3 years. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that solicitation number MS-02-Q-0023 will be issued on September 13, 2002. The estimated response date will be September 30, 2002. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS)web site: http://www.eps.gov. The EPS provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including soliciation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the EPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information abouth this acquisition.
