Description

Treasure Island Job Corps is accepting proposals for the renovation of restroom facilities in building 363. Contact Steve Chan to schedule a walk through at (415)-277-2412. Proposals are due to the address shown in this solicitation no later than 09/13/2002. All companies submitting bids for this project must have no less than five consecutive years in the practice of plumbing. The Contractor will, in accomplishing the Scope of Work, use to the extent practicable, so long as they are deemed reasonable and desirable by the Department of Labor and its authorized representatives, installation codes, ordinances, and regulations which are enforced by City, County, State or relevant Federal agencies. Where such codes are not in effect, it will be the responsibility of the Contractor to consult and use to the extent practicable the national building code generally used in the area. OSHA regulations shall also apply. Scope of Work for Building 363 Restrooms 13 urinals All valves need either diaphragms or entire replacement Replacing 1 urinal missing Vent Missing on 3rd floor urinals 39 toilets Replacing diaphragms on 28 units Replacing flush valves on 6 units Replacing was seals on 15 units Cleaning and refurbishing remaining units 41 sinks (basins) Replace valves on 22 units Replace traps on 21 units Replace 2 missing basins Replace supply lines Refurbish pop-ups on remaining basins 21 showers Replace valves on a t least 16 Replace heads on all Risers on 17
