Description
This is a request for information. The Marine Corps Base, Okinawa Japan, Regional Contracting Office is proposing to lease a Vehicle Global Positioning Tracking System. This system is comprised of two subsystems: the Global Position Tracking System, and a Vehicle Data Tracking system. 1-Global Position Tracking System: -Transponder in the Coach and Receiver in the Marine Corps Base Motor Transport Operations Center. -Real world signal feed tracking each coach by it's unique USMC identifier. -Ability to pull the coach serial number and have a operator at a computer know the location of the coach inlaid upon a real map. 2-Vehicle Data Tracking System -Recorder affixed to coach with safe guards against theft. -Recorder should have a tamper notification device. -Recorder would activate with engine start and terminate with engine shutdown. -A Tachometer should be inc luded to record the production of the engine plant. -Recorder should have easily removal data files that marry with a CPU for uploading data into an established Data Base. -Data files for a single mission should not exceed 12Mb to facilitate transmission via email from our Spokes to our Hub. -The Data Base should be able to produce/maintain data for up to 2 years. -The VDT should be able to produce the following reports: Vehicle engine plant run time, graphs with speeds from start to stop, mileage report, fuel consumption, Both systems should be in Japanese with training provided to teach TGL Operations personnel. If the system is in English trainers will need to present training in Japanese and software documents translated. The systems should come complete with at least 2 computer suites (printer included), vehicle installation - (our coaches are under manufacture warranty and contractor should work with Mitsubishi and no additional cost should be incurred by GME. Training for at least 4 GME personnel (2 Americans & 2 Japanese) from 0 to full operator with Data interpretation capabilities. Both systems should come with a Full 1 year warranty on Parts, Labor, for any failure outside the unit being damaged. The Contractor should be ready to assume liability for damages caused to our equipment in event of malfunction or failure. The Contractor should be able to install additional / replacement systems on short notice or remove and reinstall systems if the coach becomes unserviceable. The Contractor should have a 90-day period to complete the above requirements. E-Mail Point of contact with specifications of your system available for lease and minimum lease terms.
