Description

NA The date and time for receipt of proposals remains 3:00 p.m. EST, 30 August 2002. a. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate a 10-Mile Radius Map, Technical Exhibit 1 and to respond to prospective Offeror's questions. b. The prospective Offeror questions and the Government responses are indicated below: 1. Under the statement of work, it requires that all lodging should be within a 10-mile radius of the IBO office. For mapquest purposes, is this the 28307 zip code? RESPONSE: The zip code for the Installation Business Office-Contracting is 28310, in accordance with the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. The solicitation is revised to clarify the 10-mile radius requirement by incorporating Technical Exhibit 1. 2. Under the statement of work, it says that the Government will not pay more than the per diem for Fayetteville, just to confirm, this is per diem, PER soldier (for double occupancy purposes)? RESPONSE: Correct. This is for the per diem rate, per person for the Fayetteville area. 3. Under the statement of work, it states that trash removal/collection service shall occur on a daily basis. Would this be for the business week (Monday - Friday) only? RESPONSE: No. In accordance with the specifications, trash removal/collection service shall occur on a daily basis. The trash needs to be collected every day, 7 days a week. 4. In preparing our information, specifically the location of the apartments being within a 10 mile radius, we have found that there are a number of apartments that fall in the 11 - 13 mile radius from Fort Bragg. If we include these apartments as other options (outside of the ones we find within the mileage parameters), will our solicitation be thrown out? RESPONSE: Ensure that if you choose to submit a proposal, it must meet all of the specifications, terms and conditions contained in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. No facilities proposed outside of the 10-mile radius will be considered for award. F acilities proposed within the limit will be considered. No option proposed in a response to this solicitation offering facilities outside of the 10-mile readius will be accepted. c. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
