- Description
- The objective of this effort is to award a single contract that will provide services needed to train E-6 TACAMO flight crews attached to Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Seven (VQ-7) and maintain trainers located at Naval Aviation Maintenance Training Group Detachment 1080 (NAMTRAGRUDET) at Tinker AFB, OK. The program will consist of a basic year (FY04) and four one-year options (FY05--FY08). The successful contractor will provide: 1. Ground flight training and instruction for E-6 crews that encompasses a complete curriculum including computer-based, platform and simulator instruction for all flight crew positions in accordance with government approved syllabi; 2. A full range of integrated logistics support for VQ-7 and NAMTRAGRUDET training devices including Contract Operation and Maintenance of Simulators (COMS) and Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS). Provide CMS for all equipment listed in the additional training equipment inventory. Provide CMS for NAMTRAGRUDET?s hydraulic power packs. 3. Program management for the E-6 aircrew training programs, COMS, CMS, systems engineering and courseware development. 4. Flight engineers and transportation in support of VQ-7s Boeing 737 flying operations. 5. Equipment systems engineering, configuration management, Class II quick response modifications for specified hardware, software, databases, courseware and documentation, as approved and directed by the Configuration Control Board (CCB). 6. Courseware products for all E-6 flight crew training using an instructional systems development methodology. 7. Provide installation, maintenance, updates and configuration management of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) and Local Area Networks (LAN) assigned to the contractor and E-6 CFCTS program. The Government will seek comments regarding the draft solicitation and related documents that should be available for review early in FY03. Solicitation may be released in December 2002 with award in June 2003.
