NA This request for quotation (RFQ) is for commercial supplies The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3679 ADP Electronic Components Equipment. The solicitation number is DABT57-02-T-0133 and issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) This solicit ation is 100 percent set aside for small business with 500 employees or less. Required Central Contractor Registration applies to this solicitation. Description of this item is; Data Security Degausser (HD-3000) brand name or equal, items must meet DoD sp ecifications as a special purpose cavity degausser and must also meet DoD specifications to erase disk media with coercivities up to 1800 Oersteds without removing the disk platters. Must be able to accept disk drive media up to 14 inches in diagonal/diame ter and 2 inches in height. Degausser must meet the requirements for degaussing unclassified DoD hard drives as determined by the Deputy Secretary of Defense memorandum, ?Destruction of DoD Computer Hard Drives Prior to Disposal,? (Dated 4 June 01), by bei ng listed on the National Security Agency (NSA) approved Degausser Products List (DPL). Degausser must have a nominal rating of least 1700 Oersteds.
