Description

NA This is a combined synopsis,solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, SAP, as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation ,FAR, 52.211-6 ,Aug 1999. The Sol icitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular ,FAC, 2001?07 ,15 May 02, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement ,DFARs, 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20020531. It is an ticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The Standard Industrial Classification ,SIC, is 5084 and The North American Industry Classification System ,NAICS, is 421830 with size standard of 100 employees. The manufacturer is Ford Motor Company, Customer Relationship Center, P.O. Box 6248, Dearborn, MI 48126. The quote shall consist of Contract Line Item ,CLIN, 0001, quantity of one each, Ford F-350, 4X4, Dually V-10, Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission, Mounted with a 9 foot Servic e Utility Body and Tel-29-N ,Noninsulated, Versalift Bucket with 33 Foot Lift and 350 LB. Platform. Item will be delivered to Fort Greely, Alaska. All quotes shall be clearly marked with this Solicitation number DATM07-02-T-0028 and e-mailed to Jackie.Weng strom@yuma,army.mil or Fax 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business Mountain Standard Time ,MST, 4:P.M., 28 August 2002. Offeror that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 252.212-7001 cited belo w, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government ba sed on an acceptability and price.
