Description

The U.S. Coast Guard will issue a solicitation for a Janitorial Services contract. The services will be at ISC Ketchikan, in Ketchikan, Alaska. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchse order clauses contained in the solicitation. This will be a Small Business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 561720. The size standard is $12 million annually. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The contract period will be 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. The solicitation can be downloaded from the web site on or about 06 September 2002, and will close on or about 20 September. NO TELEPHONE INQUIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The following notice is for informational purposes only; Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Programs, (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum lines of credit of $500,000.
