This is a Restricted Source Item and Requires Engineering Source Approval By the Government Design Control Activity. Manufacturer?s Code and Part Number: Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. (81755) P/N 16VL016-2, Loud Engineering And MFG Inc. (50601) P/N 5053L000-6 EMCO Fluid systems Inc. (61898) P/N 30110. Drawing Number: General Dynamics DWG 16VL016-2 REV ?J? and all related Documents cited. All Required Data Shall Be In The Contractors Possession and will not be supplied by the Government. F.A.T. Required. Quantity: Various. The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite Quantity (IQ) Long Term Contract (LTC) for a Basic Year Plus Up to 4 Option Years. Incremental Price Break Ranges from 50 thru 599 each. Unit of Issue: EA., Destination Information: Various. Delivery Orders issued against The IQ LTC will include Ship To Information. Delivery Schedule: Request Phased Delivery based on Indefinite Quantities. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of 26 Jun 02 at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. The Small Business size standard is 1,000 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and Contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304?(1). Approved sources are: Lockheed Martin (81755), EMCO fluid System Inc (61898), and Loud Engineering and Mfg Inc. (50601). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
