Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington, DC intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price contract to Allen Osborne Associates, of Westlake Village, CA for a Global Positioning Service Time Monitor System. Supplies to include but are not limited to: 1.) With specification Three (3) Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module Global Positioning Service P/Y code Timing receivers. Allen Osborne Associates Inc. is the only known GPS receiver manufacturer capable of delivering a GPS PPS SAASM receiver which meets the specification, which are required for the communication satellite. The contract will be a one-time purchase without any options. A Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. SEE NOTE 22. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) for this requirement is 7050. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC)/North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 334418. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. Due to the urgent nature of this requirement the government intends to award this contract within 10 days of this announcement.
