Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations(RFQ) for constructing a cast-in-place concrete vault(strainer pit) at Dale Hollow NFH, Celina, TN. The contractor shall be responsible for supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary for construction. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 233320. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tenative issue date is on or about 8/23/02 with a 20 day closing date. Requests shall be in writing stating RFQ No. 401812Q183, complete company name, point of contract, address, area code, phone/fax number. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 90 days from the notice to proceed. The anticipated award date is 09/23/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
