Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for the modification of existing pumping plants C2.0R and C2.7L to prepare them for control and monitoring from a future centralized Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System. The work consists of removing the existing outdoor plant control lineups with the associated concrete slabs, installing new slabs and control buildings, installing new control equipment in the new control buildings, and interfacing to the existing plant equipment and pump units. Three pump motors will be replaced at the C2.0R plant. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 235310. Estimated price range of job falls in the step between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid, performance and payment bonds will be required. The contract completion date is March 1, 2005. A site visit is scheduled for September 12, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. Further information concerning the site visit will be provided in the solicitation. Compliance with Indian Preference and Indian Preference programs will be of the utmost importance (additional details and information sources will be provided in the solicitation).
